General Office Programs

All conference rooms and restrooms have motion sensor lights, which turn on when someone enters the room and turn off five minutes after he or she leaves.
Blue recycling baskets are in place for waste paper.
All office equipment is Energy Star-rated and goes to energy-saving mode after five minutes of inactivity.
Air conditioning (summer) and heat (winter) are turned off on weekends to save electricity and fuel consumption.
Our employees are encouraged to carpool and conserve whenever possible.

We've converted all fluorescent lights to High Performance Low Wattage T-8 fixtures, as defined by CEE (Consortium of Energy Efficiency).

Printing Programs

By supplying our customers with Virtual proofing (PDFs), we save trees, ink and the fuel that would be used to deliver them.
By reconditioning and reusing printing blankets, we don’t need to buy newly manufactured blankets. This helps save energy.
Re-filtering and blending of any leftover inks from press fountains helps to reduce waste going to landfills.
Using only vegetable-based inks on our sheetfed and jet presses reduces our dependence on petroleum-based products for printing.
Our continuous form presses use vegetable-based inks on 65% of their runs.
By mixing our own ink, we reduce waste and the fuel to have them delivered.
Our Solvent recovery system limits the disposal of spent pressroom chemicals and the need to ship them to a recycling plant, thus reducing fuel and electric usage.
Our re-use of waste paper for setup of next print job saves trees and manufacturing costs.
We recycle all wood pallets, plastics and scrap paper.
All cleaning solvents are biodegradable.
